Volunteer Job Description
Application
The Crisis Center could not operate without its 80-100 volunteers.
Volunteers come from all walks of life. Four times a year, the Crisis Center
provides over 45 hours of intensive training to enable our volunteers to
provide confidential, individualized service.
Training is a great opportunity to help others in need, meet wonderful
caring people, and develop incredibly useful skills. Crisis Center
volunteers make an impact in our community. Consider joining our
dedicated team!
Each volunteer must:
 | be at least 18 years of age |
 | be a good listener |
 | be able to attend every training session |
 | be able to successfully complete the volunteer training
|
 | be able to work 39 four-hour shifts over a one-year period of time
(less than one shift a week). |
We especially need volunteers who can work shifts
during business hours and overnight.

Once you submit your application, we'll contact you about a screening
interview.

The next
training starts June 5, 2012.

times are 6-10 pm):

Thursday, June 21st
Tuesday, June 26th
Thursday, June 28th
You must be able to
attend every session.
There is a $25.00 training fee (scholarships available).
